The police want YOU! Well…that’s if “you” are a thoroughbred Rottweiler or German Shepherd.
Police in KZN said this morning they were in desperate need of puppies to boost the number of dogs in the K9 Unit. These dogs, the force said, were be “an intergral part of policing and crime prevention”. If there was ever a heroic job for an animal, then this is surely it.
So they’re asking you to consider donating any suitable dogs to the force for training. There are just two rules: they MUST be thoroughbred and they MUST be aged 1-to-3 years old.
If you are keen to donate, you can get in contact with Colonel Krisen Naidoo, provincial commander of the police’s emergency services here in KZN, on 031 325 4799 or 031 325 4942.
